Start up of my Berlin lithography project! I have been working here on new prints starting 2009! I will be working with this beautiful Johannisberger from 1910 First I start with grinding the stones I love working on my graphic art and lithos when a residency slowly comes to an end. Because I am now so free in my technique and I have already completed almost 3 series of paintings I love to work in these different techniques, which ask for a different technical approach, which feeds every aspect of my work. During my three month residency I have the oppertunity to follow the Wannsee, the Wannsee Villa and the gartens of Liebermann Villa from close by, by visiting them every month to see their development and by changing light and weather. It is great to be "aufs Land" after a few weeks in the city and my studio. Some close ups from the paintings of Max Liebermann , that are on show. And my beloved Wannsee It is great to be in this mystical place and to let thoughts run free. A few new ideas have arisen for my work.
